I’m 44, and like most women I know, I’ve had a few different chapters or lives as I call them…and probably books I could write.

I started out thinking I was going to work in law, mostly led and expected by my mother! However, after graduating I found myself liked by to my creative instinct and started working for a start up company in fashion design, product and brand. This role led to me managing own brand, travelling and working in Asia and learning a steep supply and demand curve with the UK high street! My creative pull supported me to start and sell own brand product from high street to Harrods.

I’ve always loved ideas, creativity and making things.

That said the most meaningful chapter so far has been starting and running my own private elderly care business.

Supporting families during vulnerable times changes your perspective. It teaches you patience, empathy, and how much people just want to feel safe, seen and cared for.

And somewhere in the middle of caring for everyone else, I started noticing we are all pretty good and caring for others – and frankly not so great at looking after ourselves.

Women are EXTRAORDINARY!

We juggle careers, children, partners, parents, friendships. We’re the organisers, the supporters, the strong ones. We keep everything moving.

But often… we’re tired and forget about ourselves…

Not because we’ve failed, but because we’ve given so much.

Lumi was born from that feeling.

Not from vanity.
Not from trends.
But from wanting to create a space where women could come and feel looked after for once, and don’t have to explain yourself.

Where you can say “I just don’t feel like me lately” and that’s enough.

It’s about subtle treatments that help you feel confident.

Wellness that helps you feel stronger.

It’s about walking out thinking,
“I feel better. I feel like myself again.”

I truly believe when a woman feels good in herself, everything around her shifts. She stands differently. She speaks differently. She shows up differently.

Lumi is my way of giving women a place to reconnect with themselves.
